Bonus posting!
This afternoon my very beloved six year old daughter was invited to a birthday party. She wanted to wear one of my new Hello Kitty polishes, but I was hesitant. The colours were blood red, dark purple and black. Not perfectly suited for a six year old girl in my world so I did not make any promises. I tried to distract her by asking me to help unpack a recent order from a on-line-store.
My bad! One of the things she found was a nail art polish in white. With absolutely no coaching from my side, she said: Mommy, if you use this to make cool stripes, I can wear the black Kitty polish without it being too grown up, can’t I?
Well, there is probably always a time when you have to bite the bullit and realize that your offspring is way smarter than yourself. I didn’t think it would happen in the polish field with a girl in pre-school, but there it is!

I bring you now my first guest model, Harriet, 6 years old. The less than perfect nail art is all my fault. This is my first attempt at nail art, and my model was a wonderful, but not always perfectly still 6 year old daughter. Enjoy!
I love it! Very stylish and chic! So nice of Harriet to be your hand model :)
SvaraRaderaVery cute! Looks like you have a budding nail polish addict on your hands!
SvaraRaderaAbsolutely adorable!
SvaraRaderaThat's so cute! The little ones are always crafty. My nephew had to really pour on the charm when he wanted his nails done. It totally worked!
SvaraRaderaohh.. this is really pretty...
SvaraRaderaToo cute!
SvaraRaderaThank You all!
SvaraRaderaI will read your comments to my daughter tonight. She is very good at reading herself, but the english will need to be translated. She gets a lot of practicing english when she reads the names of the polish she helps me to unwrap, the hard part is explaining the meaning of the names (Suzi, I'm talking to You ;-) )
gildedangel,
just tell me, budding is the word.. :)
I have two girls 6 and 4 years old. They have already made an agreement to split my nail polish evenly when I die.. ;-D
Love the manicure you've done on Harriet. I loved nail polish also when I was her age. These colors weren't even thought of then! Just had reds, pinks and corals. How lucky she is to have a Mom who will share her polish with her. I think you did just fine with your nail art. Harriet was very smart by choosing the white stipes. She makes a beautiful hand model.
SvaraRaderaAw, Harriet's nails are so cute and she is smart!!! Love the nail design.
SvaraRaderaVery sweet guest. I'm doing my baby girls nails for a birthday party Sat. too.
SvaraRaderaThank You all for comments!
SvaraRaderaI will translate every single comment for my daughter to read, I thank You all.
